Here at Roller Shutters R US, we only use the foam filled profile made in Australia. In Australia, the foam filled profile is mainly made by two companies, OZ Roll and CWP. The AR4OO series slat is made by OZ Roll and is powder coated before forming, which ensures all metal surfaces are protected from harsh Australian weather. The shape of the profile has been designed for an elegant looks. This is the best profile in-terms of quality and price. The foam used in the profile is polyurethane foam, which is CFC (Chlorofluorocarbon) and HCFC (Hydrochlorofluorocarbon) free. This profile lasts for more than 20 years in normal climatic conditions. The coating comes with 7 years warranty, which is provided by the manufacturer.

Extruded Profile

We use 40 mm extruded aluminium profile for our manual and electric roller shutters, which is amongst the strongest shutter solutions available. Suitable mostly for commercial applications, it can occasionally be used as domestic roller shutters as well. The extruded profile works exactly the same way as foam-filled options, the only major difference is that extruded profile is very tough in comparison to the foam filled profile.

Due to its extra strength, the extruded profile it is little bit more expensive but still quite affordable with our team. The extruded profile comes in two colours, smooth cream and merino (paperbark). Other colours are available for an extra fee due to the powder coating needed.
